Feature Long Description:   <span style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: bold;">Designated Urban Soil Zone</span><div><div><span style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: small;">This dataset covers the entire state of Vermont and is a compilation of several existing ANR Atlas layers, including Downtown District Boundaries, Growth Center Boundaries, Neighborhood Development Areas, New Town Center Boundaries, and Village Boundaries. &nbsp;Per ACCD planning standards, a 0.5 mile buffer has been included around downtown districts, and a 0.25 mile buffer has been added around village boundaries. &nbsp;This dataset also includes 2016 US Census Urban Area Boundaries, which can be downloaded from:&nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: small;"><a href="https://www.census.gov/geo/maps-data/data/cbf/cbf_ua.html.">2016 US Census Urban Area Boundaries</a></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: small;"><br/></span></div><div><span style="font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: small;">This dataset should be used in conjunction with the ANR Atlas "Density of Habitable Buildings" layer to determine areas in which the use of Urban background values for concentrations of PAHs, Arsenic, and Lead in soil may be utilized. &nbsp;Any property that falls within the boundaries set in this layer, or within the Medium/High/Highest zones depicted in the Density of Habitable Buildings layer may be considered Urban in regards to soil background concentrations.</span></div></div>
